The Duzansky File

Inside The Mindset Of One Of The Top Long Snappers In College Football

By BP

One of the best special teams units in the nation relies on an anchor for each of its sections: field goals, field goal defense, kickoffs, kick returns, punts and punt returns.

Duzansky redshirted in 2021 before sitting behind Chris Stoll as the reserve long snapper in 2022. His impact was instant in 2023, stepping up after Stoll’s departure to the NFL as a Seattle Seahawk. Individually, Duzansky led the nation in tackles at his position (6).

As a part of the third unit, Duzansky’s squad was ranked in the top ten in the Big Ten and the FBS for net yards per punt (42.9).
