The Evolution of Penn State's Passing Offense
Evaluating Penn State's Passing Game Entering Week 3
In the midst of a title-contending season for Penn State, the pass offense is under pressure to improve from 2024. Making the leap forward starts with starting quarterback Drew Allar and continues with the future at that position in Ethan Grunkemeyer.
Pressure Mounts For Allar In Senior Season
It’s one last ride for Allar, who decided to stay in Happy Valley instead of declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. Alongside running backs Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen, Allar and the Penn State nucleus committed to a title run.
Last season, Allar struggled with options through the air, which caused challenges and eventually led to Penn State’s season ending loss to Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Orange Bowl.
With three new wideouts in Trebor Pena, Kyron Hudson and Devonte Ross, the weapons are there for Allar’s senior campaign.
