Penn State vs. Northwestern Wrestling Preview

The Penn State Nittany Lions will take on the Northwestern Wildcats on Sunday, January 18. Penn State started its weekend against the Iowa Hawkeyes, winning 32-3, and will finish in Evanston, Illinois, against a Big Ten opponent it did not face last season. 

However, the Nittany Lions did travel to Northwestern last season for the Big Ten championships, where they dominated the tournament with a team score of 181.5 and five individual champions in Luke Lilledahl, Tyler Kasak, Mitchell Mesenbrink, Levi Haines and Carter Starocci. Penn State will have three of those five champions in the lineup, but both teams will have a lot of new faces.
