Penn State head basketball coach Mike Rhoades addressed the media on Thursday before the season begins at home on Monday against Fairfield

1. Excited to Jumpstart the Season

The Nittany Lions are ready to turn months of preparation into performance as they gear up for tipoff and the official start of the season. Coach Rhoades emphasizes the team’s youth culture, that their energy and “coachability” have shone in the early parts of this season. After two hard-fought exhibition games, Rhoades and the team are charged up to open the season at home against Fairfield.  “It’s been a fun summer and preseason,” said Rhoades, “but now it’s go time.”
