Men's Basketball Begins 2025-26 Season
Tyler Mantone previews year three of the Mike Rhoades era
Nittany Nation, it’s officially time to head back to the hardwood and watch our Lions compete in their 130th college basketball season. The 2024-’25 season was a true rollercoaster ride for Penn State, starting furiously with an 8-1 record with quality wins against Purdue and Virginia Tech. Even reaching a highpoint of 12-2 on January 2nd after a hard-fought victory over Northwestern. However, as with most rollercoasters, what comes up...must come down. Penn State ended up losing 13 of the next 16 games and being one of three teams to miss the Big Ten Tournament. With a major roster overhaul and lots of new faces, Penn State basketball and coach Rhoades look to take a step in the right direction and maybe cause a little chaos in conference play.
