As the Nittany Lions prepare to defend their place at the top of college wrestling, we sat down with members of the team to talk about the challenges ahead, the mindset in the room, and what it takes to wear the blue and white on the biggest stage.
Here are five questions with sophomore Hayden Cunningham to kick off the season.
1. How does wrestling at Penn State feel different than anywhere else?
I think it’s just more fun. You’re on a team with a lot of guys who are successful so you want to elevate yourself. It’s a fun atmosphere.
