Five Questions with Penn State Wrestling's Cael Nasdeo

Penn State Wrestling enters the new season with the same expectations that have defined the program for more than a decade — championship standards, relentless preparation, and a culture built on excellence.

As the Nittany Lions prepare to defend their place at the top of college wrestling, we sat down with members of the team to talk about the challenges ahead, the mindset in the room, and what it takes to wear the blue and white on the biggest stage.

Here are five questions with sophomore Cael Nasdeo to kick off the season.

1. What is it like to now wrestle for the coach you’re named after?

It’s very cool, surreal, some would say. It’s just a dream come true, so just been thinking about this for most of my life, at least most of what I can remember, so it’s awesome.
