Star Penn State Cornerback ready for Oregon Passing Attack
Penn State’s cornerback A.J. Harris has become so entrenched and respected, his presence on the field commands respect from opponents. Harris hasn’t seen the ball being thrown his way much this year, but when it happens this Saturday against Oregon he’ll be ready.
Heading North After Early Hype
Harris, a native of Phenix City, Alabama, committed to Georgia as a 5-star recruit and the No. 27 overall prospect in the Class of 2023.
Despite all the hype surrounding him, however, Harris had an underwhelming freshman campaign as he notched eight total tackles in seven games for the Bulldogs.
Harris decided to transfer to Penn State in January 2024, and so far the grass has been greener. .
His impact was nearly instant in Happy Valley, totaling 48 tackles and starting in all but one game last year.
